In my case, all I had to do was copy GENERIC to EUNUCHS (the name of my
kernel).  Then edited EUNUCHS to take out the stuff that I didn't need.
The sbc0 line wasn't there by default, however, I just added it anyway and
commentedout the ncrscsi lines and compiled and it worked.  So yes, it
appears that the 1.2.1 distribution source has the sbc code in there.
However, I have no clue if it is recent enough for your needs.  It just
works for my needs (mainly to get rid of an annoying error message).
