I'm considering a Duo (210/230) as a replacement for my SE/30 8/40+160. I
was rather unhappy to notice a few things though:
1. The Duos don't have an FPU. Is this easily fixable? If not, has anyone
out there ever heard of someone who will add one for me? I know the 270
has one, and the motherbowards are very similar, if not identical...
2. There was some traffic somewhere (here maybe?) about the Duos not
being able to talk to external HDs (connected via a SCSI mocrodock) while
under NetBSD because the dock constituted a senond SCSI bus.
I was planning to move the external BSD HD from my SE/30 to the as of
yet unobtained Duo (after I take care of the FPU problem) and go from
there, hoping to avoid a total reinstall and re-config. This bus thing
seems to be a serious obstacle. Ha sanyone beaten it yet, or am I
restricted to ubying a rather big and _really_ expensive 2.5" internal HD?

Oh yeah, while I'm here, is there anyone interested in buying a nicely
cared for SE/30 (8/40, KB and mouse) with slight burn in? email offers to
