Thanks for the clarification about -lcrypt.

There is no need to install un-secr.  It is just an uninstall tarball for
people that want to remove the security tarball and get back to the basic
system.

Signature failed Preliminary Design Review.
Feasibility of a new signature is currently being evaluated.
