hmmmm with hfsutils--2.0 you need to undefine the thing about file 
locking...or is it define, anyway do the thing that switches off the 
locking. of course trying to use hfsutils on my external gig quantum 
fireeeball attached to my quadra 650 dropped me into thee debugger.
