I have the same "problem" with the loopback/ifinit error, but it doesn't
seem to really matter; everything works OK.  I haven't really thought about
just not running routed (as Bill Studenmund suggests); maybe I'll try
dropping it and see if it matters.  I imagine just cleaning up and
reviewing my netstart and rc's would probably clear that up, too.

I haven't seen your pmap_set problem, though.
