Since many people have mentioned lynx, here is how to get it without
rebooting. This of course assumes that you can access the Internet in
NetBSd using PPP or ethernet.

FTP to ftp://ftp.macbsd.com/pub/NetBSD/contrib/unix/ using the built
in ftp command. In this above directory, you will find the pre-compiled
binary for lynx in the file lynx.tar.gz Download this file and the
lynx-docs if desired.

Unzip and untar the file and install lynx according to the included
instructions. Then, to access the FAQ, connect to the Internet and type

lynx http://www.macbsd.com/macbsd/macbsd-docs/faq/

I have created an alias 'netbsdfaq' for the above command.

Another alternative is to FTP to the below address and download the FAQ,
info file, and Meta-FAQ in text format.

ftp://ftp.macbsd.com/pub/NetBSD/docs/text/

As others have mentioned X is the graphical user interface for UN*X. On
my IIcx running NetBSD, I am using X and never boot back into MacOS. I
can run Mosaic about as fast as I could if it were in MacOS, but NetBSD is
more stable.

I forget who hinted at using Mosaic 2.7b3 from the Amiga archive, but I
have been using it without any of the crashing problems that plague b5.
