Could well be a problem with ncr - if it reads the program image file
incorrectly, you never know what kind of opcodes it might run into!

Changing the MacOS driver (which resides on the driver partition(s) on the
disk) will have no effect what-so-ever while NetBSD/Mac is running.  When
NetBSD is running, the NetBSD drivers take over and all of MacOS (except
for the ROMs) is gone.
