Hmmm. This is interesting. So far, at least three of the people who have
responded are using IIsi's. Was that just a high-seller, or is there some
kind of correlation between the group of people who bought IIsi's and the
group of people who are interested in running free un*x clones on their
Macs? Anybody? :-)

Yeah, that can be a problem with some free un*x systems.

If there's not an option on the listserv for that, it ought to be easy
enough to set something up. One possibility would be to create a
port-mac68k-d list on some box that _does_ support digesting, and set a
replies-to/reply-to field to encourage submissions to the digested list to
instead go to the port-mac68k list. Then, just add the port-mac68k-d list
to the subscriber list of the port-mac68k list. I'd be willing to try it
on my box if there are a number of people interested, at least on a trial
basis (i.e. if the box crashes too much, the digested list is history).
Any thoughts?
