I got the ppp-setup kit from the FTP site, configured it, ran it, and
pppd seems to start up just fine.

When it gets a carrier, however, it (sometimes) says "connection from
<IP address> to <IP address> established" or something to that effect,
then three identical "fatal error" messages follow it.

Does anyone know what isn't being done right?

Also, do /etc/hosts and /etc/myname have to be edited for a PPP setup?
