Yup - you just can't compile a new one without making the changes Taras
mentioned.

Yeah - I had to read through /etc/rc.lkm to figure it all aout!

Well, compat_sunos won't work, and unionfs definitely won't work as is.
compat_sunos only works if the kernel is compiled with all of the
compat_xx stuff defined (at least, _09, _10, and _43).  And unionfs won't
work as is because it requires certain code to be resident in the kernel
which only exists if the entirety of unionfs is kernel resident!  (I've
provided patches for unionfs, but they haven't been integrated yet.)
