Oops, I confused the definitions of track and cylinder (I've just been 
trying to work from a text on Unix systems and the Sun answerbook).  
So the new jaz geometry should be:
	sector size	512
	block size	512
	bytes/sector	512
	sect./track	32
	tracks/cyl.	64
	# cylinders	1018
	bytes/inode	2048
	cyl./group	1
This gives a total of 1067450368 bytes and 2084864 sectors.  Thanks for the
