There is xlock, I use the xlockmore-3.10 package myself.  It works quite 
well.  In fact, if anyone would like a copy of the header file to change 
the BSD flags module to NETBSD instead, just let me know.  As for where 
you can get it, I got a copy from the contrib directory at ftp.x.org.
