.. having installed the init and the Generic-22 kernel, I now get past the

.. On another interesting note:  I re-cooonnected my Apple adjustable 
.. Keyboard and Microspeed 3-button mouse, and they were booth recoognized 
.. fine in the boot process.....<yeah!  my id will be happy he gets HIS
