To build the cd entries in /dev, you may do something like

    cd /dev
    sh MAKEDEV cd0

after you have booted NetBSD and remounted / with read-write access.

I have a NEC CDR-210 (yes, I think that it is this model, and yes: it is
quite old). I use with a PC and a Adaptec 1515 SCSI controller. On the
Adaptec, i had to disable parity checking to use the Nec drive. This
is documented in the Adaptec documentation.

Sorry, I don't recall whether or not I got it to work with NetBSD/mac68k,
but if there is no way to disable parity checking, you may not be able
to use this drive. Sorry again, that I cannot solve your problem, but
parity is a problem with this drive.
