ok for atleast twm typing 'exit' in the login window quits the server.
this seems to me to be a better and more 'official' way of killing the
server rather than doing something like 'kill' itself. i dont know if its
different in fvwm, i dont have it running, if theres a 'consol' window try
exit or quit there.
