After running for a while (a few days) xntpd starts to use a _lot_ of
resources, like this:
last pid: 1610624510; load avera 2.27, 2.31, 2.30 2.31 04:38:23
45 processes: 3 running, 42 sleeping
CPU states: 80.1% user, 14.3% nice, 5.5% system, 0.0% interrupt, 0.0% idle

10867 bsalai 18 20 476K 752K sleep 0:02 0.00% 0.00% <tcsh>
anyone else ever see anything like that, or have an idea how to prevent it.
I've been restarting xntpd from time to time as a workaround, but there must be
a better way.
