Alright, after 5 months of saying I was going to do it, the time has 
finally arrived:  I'm updating the documentation again.  Please take a 
look at:

and send me your comments, suggestions, criticism, etc.  I've gotten most 
of the easy questions finished now (like all of the X stuff, I think), 
but now I've got the harder stuff (like installation questions) left to go.

As for the machine-status page, that's still in the works (don't worry, I 
know that it's woefully behind, but I want to create a system that's a 
little more flexible and easy to maintain than the one I currently have ;-)

Anyway, keep in mind that the docs are still a work in progress, but 
please tell me if I'm missing something crucial.
