This is SO cool.  I just booted with that new kernel and it did everything
right up until it said,

"panic - cannot mount root"

Suh - I didn't make a partition for it yet.  But it probed the SCSI bus and
saw everything properly, including the 7 Disc CD changer, and all of its
LUNs.  Pretty slick....  Next, to try actually installing stuff that it can
boot from.  Wow!
