Only 4 lines!? I get at least few dozen of them. If seriously, it
should write a line on every eights pixel. I think I hardcoded the
display width 640 pixels somewhere. If X works, there is little to
worry about.

I forgot to mention that grftest program dumps a lot of stuff onto
console. I usually redirect the output to a file, otherwise it can be
very slow. Control-C should return you back to B/W mode. I will check
again on my machine.
