No difference between A/UX 2 and 3 in this regard.  The SVR2 refers to
System V Revision 2---the ATT code base used to create A/UX, not the A/UX
revision.  The process they describe sounds convoluted, but at least it's
there.

Signature failed Preliminary Design Review.
Feasibility of a new signature is currently being evaluated.
