I think that I am running a kernel that would have been supped on or before
may 12 of this year (thats the date one of the half dozen kernel files in
my root.)

I was planning to install 1.2 in the next few days, I dont have anything
particularly important on the mac, as I now use my freebsd machine when I
need to do important stuff.
