As you have noticed, netbsd11 (the real 1.1 kernel) doesn't support very
many systems very well....  Try downloading

ftp://ftp.macbsd.org/pub/outgoing/briggs/generic-7.tar.gz

and installing it.  That should replace the netbsd file in /.  If it
installs as a different filename, use the mini-shell (within the
installer) and move things around.
