Anyone with technical knowledge who wishes to work on this problem can
contact me, and I will describe the bits of my LCIII ROM I had to
disassemble to find out the tricks my LCIII uses to clear its video
interrupts.  I imagine a similar technique might reveal something on the
C650 - you'll need MacsBug (and to understand 68000 assembly).
