Hi everyone.
I realize that there is a binary version of xload on
ftp.macbsd.com that work with the macintosh version of NetBSD, but I am
(for various strange reasons) looking for either diffs to the source or at
least some general pointers as to how to get this to compile. I have the
xload source (from ftp.x.org), and have made all the obvious changes (i.e.
change the kernal name to /netbsd, and change the declarations of
sys_errlist), but it still dies with the error:
unable to get namelist from /netbsd
(or something really close to that, my memory is going bad...)
Also, while I am talking about X, what exactly is Xmacbsd and xinit, two
programs that are in the tar archives of X from ftp.macbsd.com, but aren't
things that are apparently obvious on how to build/ where to find source.
Any help you can give me with this is greatly appreciated. I have
recently upgraded my machine to 20M (which makes running X bareable), and
thus am starting to compile various things for it.
