Please try to ignore my ignorance and stupidity this past day...

I don't know what was wrong w/ me :)

OK, NetBSD is working fine on my 600 as of now. My problems w/ corrupted 
archives were explained by my network, and the problems with booting were 
explained by the fact my monitor was set to Thousands of colors :)

Only a few things trouble me when NetBSD boots up, especially the fact is 
says it's rebooting (but then it starts up). Something about that 
coredump check...

Whenever I boot in NetBSD, my internal HD makes some strange 
noises...some I've never heard before :) Sounds like stuff moving in 
there (and not the normal read/write activity)...
