And the current kernels have FPU emmulation in them. All you need to
do is get a new copy of libm which lacks calls to unsupported FPU
instructions. But the kernel'll boot fine with the stock libm.

The kernel will work (has worked for quite a while) in 8-bit color
mode. Just you only get black and white, and dt & X are unhappy.
