I'm using that exact configuration (SE/30, GENERIC#7), and here's how it
looks when I have my PPP connection up...

I don't remember what it used to be like, i.e., whether I ever saw real
interface names.

[Looking at that "refs" number for the first entry, I believe I may have
incorrectly retyped it.  Anyway, I got the "Interface" right.]
