Hi,

I have downloaded the Generic6 Kernel from
ftp://puma.macbsd.com/pub/outgoing/briggs/Generic-6.gz
I have installed it in my IIci8/500 , with no internal video and a
PrecisonColor8 Radius video Card in 1bit mode and 640x480 .

All is going very well, but dt and X11, don't work at all : they said

#startx
Fatal server error:
Can't run X server with no screens!
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

#dt -n 1
error opening grf0 (primary screen): Device not configured
no usable grf-devices found

What is the problem ?
What can I do ?

( Before I had the Generic-55 Kernel, dt and X11 worked very well with it )

/thanks, jblancha@pratique.fr
