This does not mean you have no termination problem.  I've had quite a
bit of termination problem only with MacBSD while MacOS happily ran on
the same machine.  I know it was a termination problem because it has
stopped when I bought and hooked up an external APS drive with a
digital active terminator.  I'd suggest you check your cables and SCSI
bus terminators.
