Well, I've only had a cursory look over the code so far, but the way
that it works is to hook in or glue in to the drivers that are stored on
the video cards (required for Quickdraw compatibility).  The twist is
that for internal video, these drivers are in the ROM in the machine,
but there's little indication which driver...

Someone with a bit of patience could probably figure out how to coax the
right data out of the ROMs ("slot 0") and get that to work, too.  At
that point, some of the work I just did will probably need to be undone,
but a lot of the code could probably be simplified significantly.
