Gray bars have gone away. :-)

You do have a PMMU in it? You'll need Mode32 and to be running in
32-bit memory mode.

If you have both, then the probem might be that you don't have "auto size
RAM" checked in the booter. I got similar problems (weird trap errors)
over the summer when I didn't give NetBSD all of my IIsi's ram.
