That would be extremely nice, yeah.  But Sun's documents say Java
tools are heavily threaded which makes it harder to port the tools to
other platforms (or, was it just HotJava?).  NetBSD has pthread (POSIX
thread) library in its source tree, but I'm not sure if it works on
mac68k.  Even if it does, there's still the porting barrier from
Solaris thread to POSIX thread.

I don't know.  I'd like to see JDK ported to NetBSD, but I don't have
time to do the job myself...
