Don't get mad at me; did you make sure you turned Virtual Memory OFF,
and 32-bit addressing ON?

If so, try booting without the Daystar.  Yeah, I know; a bummer.

I don't know... Personally I have never experienced booting problem
caused by extensions, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't.
