Ideally, when wireing up a fake monitor, you want the fake monitor to look
like as your real one so you can plug the real monitor in later, if need
be.

>Look for the pin numbers on the monitor connector and short out pins
>4 & 11 (monitor sense lines) with a paper clip.  (I've been using this
>for months.)  Another method is to spend $25 on an SVGA adapter that
