Is there something special you have to tweak to get xconsole working?
I've got the correct GiveConsole/TakeConsole actions for xdm I think
(chown /dev/console to $USER, chown it back when done, chmod 622).
But xconsole always says couldn't open console.  I also played with
/dev/ttye0 but it doesn't seem to work.

I call xconsole like this:  xconsole -geometry 430x100 -notify -iconic &

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
