The only potential problems are related to getting the interrupts
properly...  And getting a root device mounted (I've successfully
used the ram-based miniroot on my Q700).

On my Q700, I am having difficulty reading slot interrupts.  I'll get
the interrupt, start to process it, but the interrupt flags for the slot
interrupts show no interrupts.  Kinda hard to process it that way.
These are for the internal ethernet.  You're heading into uncharted
territory--have fun!  :-)  I'll be happy to help if there's anything
I can do.
