Hi all,
I'm trying to install NetBSD/Mac 68k on a MacIIcx, w/8 MB RAM, a DayStar
50MHz card and 80 MB HD (5,6 MB Mac HFS, 53.5 MB A/UX Root, 18 MB A/Ux
Swap...) My Ethernet card is a Asanté MC3NB (based on the 83902V). My
monitor is a 8-bit grayscale RasterOps ClearView/GSXL equipped with a
RasterOps card).
I picked up the 1.1 binaries at ftp.netbsd.org. First. I ran into problems
with the installer. During the unpacking of the Base11 package I got two
unimplemented traps. I solved this problem by allocating 2 MB in the Finder
get info window. It solved this problem.
Then, came the moment I was waiting for... I launcher the Booter (v 1.8).
It went ok for a time, but... then came this message:
Bootstrapping NetBSD/Mac 68k.
Getting mapping from HMU.
System RAM: 8388608 bytes in 2048 pages
Low = 0x0, high = 0x800000

Done.

unexpected trap; vector offset 0x1 from 0x60000000.
Looks to me I found an incompatible video card? Have I?
TIA,
