I'm a novice of admin. of unix system.
To learn the admin. of unix, I successfully installed NetBSD1.1 (Wittoski's
kernel) on my LC3 (12MB RAM / 1GB internal HD - Fujitsu M1606S), and I'm
enjoying.

However I have some problem with compiling the perl5.001 and launching the X.

I'm trying to compile perl5.001 for a couple of days.
During the Configure, I find a message as follows;
>  fpu_emul_type0: unknown: opcode=0xf22e, word1=0x4000
However, I can reach the end.

And during the makedepend, I find a message;
>  fpu_emul_type0: unknown: opcode=0xf22e, word1=0x4000
>  Dec 20 00:38:00 ueda /netbsd: fpu_emul_type0: unknown: opcode=0xf22e,
>word1=0x4000
>  Dec 20 00:38:00 ueda /netbsd: fpu_emul_type0: unknown: opcode=0xf22e,
>word1=0x4000
>
> cc:Internal compiler error: program as got fatal signal 4
>
>  ***Error code 1
and then, makedepend process is interupted.
Do I have to install a fpu to my LC3?

Also I've been trying to use the X. Off course, B&W monitor mode, /etc/rc
and /etc/rc.local configured....but it didn't come.
The message was,
>Dec 20 00:38:00 ueda /netbsd: fpu_emul_type0: unknown: opcode=0xf22e,
>word1=0x4000
>Dec 20 00:38:02 ueda /netbsd: vm_fault(10d000, ffffb000, 1, 0) -> 1
>Dec 20 00:38:02 ueda /netbsd:   type 8, code [mmu,,ssw]: 2020755
>Dec 20 00:38:02 ueda /netbsd: trap type 8, code = 2020755, v= ffffb744
>Dec 20 00:38:02 ueda /netbsd: kernel: MMU fault trap
and
> X connection to: 0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)

Any advices?
