That is interesting.  I got the fstat: file not found message when I 
tried to mkfs and intall with my PB145 (and we know how well that 
worked).  Which is a bug?  The fstat or the order?  Could the fstat be 
indicative of something else buggy with the file system?  If so, could it 
be identified?
