I don't know much about Sun 2's hardware at the logic level, but any
of the 68000 Macs doesn't have DMA of any kind and it makes it much
easier to stop the on-board CPU by just pulling down BR* (bus request)
signal.  I *think*, OTOH, Sun 2 has some sort of DMA support, and it's
most likely that DMA device wants to assert BR* signal as well.

In one sentence, I'm not very optimistic about it.
