Hmm..  I don't expect this will help.  I was looking over some info on
the Classic II, and it looks like the memory is handled in an odd
fashion.  I don't remember the details, but I hope to at least look
at it again soon.

I'm running qpopper on my IIcx.  I think I picked it up from
ftp.qualcomm.com.  It's happily serving Eudora on an old Mac
II for my wife's E-mail.
