When fsck says reboot, it means *reboot* :-) As in power cycle...
that means that it's finished modifying the raw device to its
pleasure and it doesn't want it to even go so far as to sync. Or
at least the author of fsck says so :-)

If I remembered my French better, I'd paraphrase Cyrano de Bergerac,
act I, and compare your signature to a monument, ask if it prevents
you from drinking tea, sympathize with you on its length, and a number
of other things--but suffice it to say that the standard "maximum"
length is four lines :-) Just a friendly reminder...
