For the record, I'm not seeing this at all on my IIx.  The SCSI problem I 
have been seeing intermittently seems to have died down without the 
CD-ROM and tape attached.

My binaries are currently the 02-Nov snapshot, and my kernel was compiled 
from source supped 19-Nov (fyi).
