Hi,

I compiled a kernel from the very newest sources and it is
about 200Kb larger that previous kernels and, what is worse, the booter
chokes on this kernel with an address error (fetch longword from odd
address).

Here is the size information the booter gives:

old kernel (15.sept.): 649988 (0x0)+51484+97440+ 42324+ 44104
new kernel (23.sept.): 650552 (0x0)+51480+97440+145524+130547
                                                ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Any ideas?
  Walter
