Well,  The pop server takes the user {name} but sometimes hangs on pass
{pass}.  I did include -lcurses and -l crypt in the linker stage of the
make.  The really funny thing is that if you get past the passwd it
will
give the messages and octets but freezes when you issue a quit.  But
while
it freezes it's filling up var/mail/{name} with nasty rows of "^" until
the filesystem is full....
