port-mac68k: compiling emacs 19.29

I'm having trouble compiling emacs 19.29 on my IIsi.  The only error 
messages I get (that I recognize as error messages...) are the 
following:

ld: internal error:wrong number (3046) of global symbols written into 
output file, should be 3047
*** Error code 1

Stop.
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Is there somewhere specific I should look to fix this?
