Hi there. I've grabbed gcc-2.7.0 from MIT, and I'm looking to build
and install it on NetBSD/Mac. However, I've noticed that the GNU
installer, by default, wants to put the new files into a different
place than where the old version that comes with NetBSD resides.
Should I be concerned? What would be the wisest way to do this
install, and how can I properly remove any parts of the old compiler,
libraries, include files without screwing things up?

Thanks for the help.
