All patches for qemu and NetBSD should be in
<https://github.com/MelkhiorVintageComputing/virt68k-smp>
(assuming claude committed everything properly).
I didn't try Linux as for older systems like that I favor NetBSD.
I forgot the datapoint; "time make -j 8" of the GENERIC.MP was:
```
417.64 real 2046.19 user 1079.96 sys
```
on a Ryzen 5 NuC (claude has its own machine with none of my data!)
with 6 physical cores and HT (so not perfect for an 8-cores virtual
machine).
Cordially,
