FWIW, last I tested both macppc and mac68k kernels did not work with 4.8,
I'm re-testing right now (last test probably was before the final 4.8.3
import).

Note that mac68k kernels don't work anyway due to gcc 4.5 bugs (#48171,
I traced it down to a compiler bug but was hoping on 4.8 to avoid having to
fix it).
