Hi,

I build the whole TeX stuff a few months ago on my Atari TT running NetBSD 1.2E
(-current from June) and everything went fine. These are the files I used:

-rw-r--r-- 1 mike staff 895022 Feb 8 1997 dviljk-2.6.tar.gz
drwxr-xr-x 5 mike staff 512 Jun 21 01:50 help
-rw-r--r-- 1 mike staff 1605911 Feb 11 1997 texmflib-7.2.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 mike staff 7025 Feb 7 1997 unixtex.ftp
-rw-r--r-- 1 mike staff 1453283 Feb 10 1997 web-7.0.tar.gz
drwxr-xr-x 8 mike staff 1024 Jun 21 18:14 web2c-7.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 mike staff 1285357 Feb 8 1997 web2c-7.0.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 mike staff 693886 Feb 8 1997 xdvik-20a.tar.gz

I can't tell much from your script, the only thing that comes to my mind now is
that I probably used GNU make instead of /usr/bin/make.

Greetings

Mike
